DCGP has updated its membership program for 2021!

Members are DCGP community members who are NOT renting a garden plot with us. If you are a gardener, you are not automatically a member, but you do receive many of the same benefits as members (see Member and Gardener benefits below).

Choose the pay-what-you-can annual membership fee that works for you: $25, $50, or $100. Your membership is active for one year after purchase. 

By becoming a DCGP member, you are directly supporting our mission of cultivating healthy neighborhoods by providing access to land, resources, and community. In order to offer garden spaces and support at reduced costs, we need your help. We charge garden plot rental fees on a sliding scale based on income, and never turn anyone away due to inability to pay; it is important to us that community gardening is as accessible as possible. DCGP memberships are one way that individuals can financially support our work, and ensure that we continue to provide high quality garden plots and programming to all. 

As a thank you for your support, you will receive the following membership benefits:

Member and Gardener benefits:

• Early access to the DCGP Plant & Seed Sale, U-Pick Pumpkin Patch, and Garlic Sale*

• Access to the garden tool, canning/food preservation equipment, and book libraries*

• Discounted rental of the apple cider press and grinder September-November*

Member only benefits: 

• A DCGP membership card mailed to you

• One free yoga class per year with active DCGP membership at Svalja Yoga! 

  • To use your free class, sign up for an account in Svalja's online system, then email hello@svalja.yoga and let them know you have an account and are requesting a FREE DCGP pass - they will put it on your account and you can register for any class.
